Introducing Hausman’s advanced cutting systems plate pro extreme cutting table, with Koike Aronson Edge Pro controller and Hypertherm 260 XD plasma and oxyfuel cutting torch. By combining fast cutting speeds, rapid process cycling, quick changeovers, and high reliability to maximize productivity, this new cutting machine has changed the way we serve our customers.   With the Hypertherm 260 XD Edge Pro cutting system and the Koike Drive interface, we can cut fine-feature parts with superior quality and consistency, eliminating the cost of secondary operations – translation? Saving our customers time and money.

Your job starts at one of our two active process stations.  Send us your existing records, drawings, or blueprints via email, flash drive or disc. Our software easily imports your parts drawings, including CAD and other industry specific design files.  If you don’t have your drawings, documents or blueprints for your part, Hausman can reverse engineer your part… by measuring it …and then re-drawing it in the cutting systems software.   At this point the customer can see the part and approve it before it’s made.  Not only can Hausman duplicate your product, but many times we can enhance it as well, often resulting in a superior part that saves our customers time and money.  From there parts are either automatically “nested” or manually “nested” for maximum utilization.

Using the software the shop foreman applies all optional cutting techniques for your job

The numerical control programming language or “NC” code is generated to run your job. Everything specific to your job is programmed in.  The software prompts the operator on which materials to use for your job.  This eliminates operator variability and reduces costly set-up time.

When it comes to cutting, the Hypertherm Plasma system can cut mild steel up to 1 -1/2 half inches, stainless steel up to 1-1/4 inches and aluminum up to 1 inch.  All components on the Hypertherm work together seamlessly, producing more parts per hour with consistent high quality and maximum material utilization.  For thicker cuts, the Hypertherm quickly switches to the oxyfuel cutting torch already mounted on the master carriage.  The oxyfuel cutting capacities are impressive; up to 4” thick on mild steel, and the Hypertherm can gang cut parts using multiple torches.  The table has a large 8′ x 14′ cutting area.  This allows cutting of larger parts with less weld seams to reduce labor costs.
